Julian Hall, MS

Julian is excited to join the Atracare mental healthcare team as a clinical mental health therapist. Throughout his graduate school training at Chatham University, he was exposed to both the field settings of community mental health as well as an intensive outpatient program for children and adolescents facing obsessive compulsive disorder. He has experience and a passion working with the LGBTQIA+ population as well as adolescents into emerging adulthood. As a counselor, he believes in approaching the client through a collaborative lens using techniques and theories from third wave cognitive-behavioral therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Additionally, he draws from Person-centered Therapy, striving to create a safe space for his clients to explore and reach self-actualization.

Julian is originally from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania but has lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the last eight years. He is very anxious to explore all that coastal living has to offer such as taking runs on the beach with his beloved Newfoundland puppy. Additionally, he greatly enjoys being in nature in any capacity, traveling, listening to audiobooks/podcasts as well as challenging himself with learning a new skill or activity.
