Raised in Dover, Delaware as part of a military family, Brooke has deep roots in the First State and a lifelong connection to the Delaware beaches. Having spent summers in Bethany Beach with her family for as long as she can remember, she was drawn back home very shortly after completing her graduate education in Physician Assistant Studies in Savannah, Georgia in 2022. 

Brooke’s healthcare journey began at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, where she worked in audiology research while earning her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Delaware. Through her research experience and associated exposure to physician assistants, she discovered her passion for medicine and subsequently pursued a career as a PA.

Before attending South University’s Physician Assistant program, Brooke worked for two years as a nursing assistant on a post-operative orthopedic, neurology, and spine unit at Bayhealth Kent Campus. After graduating from PA school, she returned to Delaware and practiced in both Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine at Bayhealth. Seeking to combine the fast-paced nature of emergency care with the continuity and preventive focus of primary care, she transitioned to urgent care medicine.

Brooke is passionate about improving access to high-quality healthcare for Delaware residents and visitors alike. She enjoys helping patients navigate both acute and chronic health concerns while bridging gaps between urgent and primary care to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Brooke enjoys exploring Delaware’s state parks, trying new local restaurants, and spending time at the beach with her husband and daughter.
