Ted Kouzov, MD is a Family Medicine doctor who graduated from Arnot-Ogden Medical Center located in Elmira, NY, with a diverse background in clinical medicine, medical research, and preventative health innovation. A dual U.S. and Bulgarian citizen, Dr. Kouzov earned his M.D. from the Medical University of Sofia and holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
His professional journey has included hands-on clinical experience across multiple specialties—Neurology, Pathology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. He has also contributed to research in Critical Care, Cardiology, Pulmonary Medicine, and PTSD with several abstracts presented and submitted at major conferences.
Dr. Kouzov’s interest in holistic health led him to focusing on proactive wellness strategies into expanding the healthy lifestyle approach to medicine. Following the latest medical and scientific research to help his patients live longer, healthier lives. He remains committed to lifestyle medicine and human-centered care.
Fluent in English and Bulgarian, Dr. Kouzov is passionate about lifestyle medicine, outdoor sports, and building strong relationships with patients to improve both mental and physical longevity.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kouzov enjoys an active lifestyle including snowboarding, biking, swimming, and running. He also has a passion for photography and travel. He cherishes spending time with his family and their two cats, Bowie and Iris.
