As a certified nurse practitioner, I’ve enjoyed working in urgent care settings and delivering compassionate care to a diverse group of patients of all ages.  I’ve found the wide variety of patients to be both challenging and rewarding, and I am committed to helping my community.

Having known I wanted to be in nursing since I was in my teen’s, I have been committed to the profession and continued education. I completed my Master’s of Science in Nursing while being a mom of three and working full time as a registered nurse. As a certified family nurse practitioner, I am trained to care for patients of all ages from infancy to the aging population. I pride myself on compassionate care and was nominated by a patient’s family for The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses (The DAISY Award).

I have been in the nursing field for over 15 years including medical-surgical, emergency room, day surgery and cardiology. Having spent many years working in the Emergency Department, I’m used to fast-paced medicine and decision making.  My training in the ED is probably why I chose to work in an Urgent Care setting after I graduated as a nurse practitioner.

COVID created many challenges for providing care, but I never backed down in my resolve.  I frequented different locations to provide care when others would not.  Mostly, I wanted patients to be able to get the care they needed and deserved.

In my free time I enjoy spending time at the beach and traveling with my loving husband, three children, and three dogs. My family and I chose to relocate from New Hampshire to Delaware to help support the need for more medical providers in this area.
