Dr. Bowman – Board Certified Psychiatrist

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over eighteen years of clinical experience in Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Correctional Psychiatry, who has worked within various team-based healthcare systems including Medication-Assisted Treatment and Withdrawal Management programs for addictions and caring for those with serious and chronic mental illness on an Assertive Community Treatment team. Prior to joining Atracare as a part-time clinical Psychiatrist, I had most recently been working as a staff Psychiatrist within the Veterans Health Administration for the past 7 years providing general and geriatric psychiatric care and addiction management. I am also currently working as a Behavioral Health Medical Director for Centene Corporation/ Delaware First Health Plan. I strive to listen carefully and work collaboratively; and I strive to pay attention to the details but also see the larger picture, while seeking to make a positive and meaningful impact in the mental health and functioning of my patients.
