Atracare Welcomes Board-Certified OB/GYN Dr. Leo Eschbach Jr.

New gynecology service expands access to preventive, routine, and specialized women’s healthcare in Southern Delaware.

Atracare is expanding its women’s health services with the addition of Leo Eschbach Jr., DO, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than two decades of experience caring for women in Southern Delaware.

The new gynecology service gives women throughout Sussex County another local option for preventive, routine, and specialized care, while further expanding Atracare’s growing network of healthcare services.

Dr. Eschbach has a longstanding presence in the Southern Delaware medical community and has cared for generations of women across the region. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2000.

His clinical expertise includes preventive gynecologic care, menstrual and hormonal concerns, pelvic pain, menopause, contraception, and the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of gynecologic conditions. Dr. Eschbach also brings extensive experience in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.

Adding gynecology is another step in Atracare’s continued growth beyond urgent care and toward a more comprehensive model of locally accessible healthcare. Patients receiving gynecologic care will also remain connected to Atracare’s broader network of primary care, pediatrics, mental health, urgent care, and other medical services.
