Construction Updates: a Sneak Peek!

If you’ve driven down the Coastal Highway in the past few months, you probably noticed an exciting new building being erected on the side of the road – Atracare Health! Things are moving quickly; the foundation was poured, the roof went on, and the framing and drywall is done.  Opening day is quickly approaching, and we cannot wait to unveil all that we’ve been working on!

Thankfully, Sussex County is a mecca of experienced and talented contractors, electricians, plumbers, and designers, and they’ve been crucial to this process. Special thanks to these folks, who have made Atracare really shine.

Our coastal location influenced our design scheme, but with a modern twist. Take for example the terrazzo tile that accents each exam room.  The design was specially selected because it has hints of seashells peppered throughout. And we really like the job that East Coast Tile did putting it in.  You don’t have to take our word for it though.  Check out the tile for yourself in the photo below!

The laminate floors and tile really compliment each other. Thanks Floors & More!

Getting closer to a finished product as the wallpaper is hung with care.

Laminate hardwood floors with built-in springboards underneath are easy on the joints and on the eyes.  The sun-stained hardwood design is reminiscent of the stately beach home floors  which dot our area.  Despite the hardships that came with manufacturing in this COVID crisis, local business owner Ray Tartal of Floors & More said he was happy to help a fellow Sussex Countian as he rose above the challenge to secure materials during this time.

Trying to put this much technical lighting in a small place is no small task. Expert Electrician Rich Clark points to where he has to fit special lighting into the ceiling.

Bringing light to all facets of our building was Rich Clark, Journeyman electrician from Amp Electric LLC (pictured above). Rich was quick to admire the LED lights we installed , remarking that they “contained deflectors which I’ve never seen before.  They make the lights quite unique.”  We couldn’t agree more.

We’re getting closer to welcoming patients to our new practice.

We love our floors and we hope you do too!

Thanks for checking out our progress!

Atracare Health is growing from the ground up, bringing warmth and light to Sussex County healthcare. We look forward to welcoming you into our new facilities soon!

Very impressive scheduling. It’s wonderful to NOT be on hold trying to make an appt. I also love that I can walk in for those unexpected things that pop up and feel confident that Dr. DeLuca is in the same bldg and so are my records!
Congrats and looking forward for my wellness checkup.
