Premier Telehealth Coming April 1st, 2022  in Southern Delaware

As a premier healthcare provider in Southern Delaware, Atracare Health is releasing a mobile app  that will include a suite of robust telemedicine features to enrich and enhance patients’ access to healthcare. The new mobile application builds upon Atracare Health’s commitment towards integrating their exceptional care with more modern and innovative solutions for the local community.
The mobile app will be available 4/1/2022 on both the Apple App Store, and Google Play (app store). Telehealth is available for Pediatric patients, urgent care (walk in care), and Covid Testing + Vaccinations.

What the new app means for Delawareans

1. Access to faster, reliable healthcare

The app is available for free and offers expanded hours of care starting at 6am, until 6pm every day of the week. Users will have the ability to speak with a doctor, and have prescriptions called into their local pharmacy of choice without an in-person visit to our location.

2. Access to healthcare records, and dialogue with your doctor

Atracare Health is breaking down the barrier between patient and provider. Patients will be able to access information from their health records, and physicians will have the ability to share informational documentation directly with their patients all from within the mobile app. Need to schedule a follow-up, lab work, or checkup? This is now easier than ever.

3. Expanded pediatric care for sick children

We empathize with parents who’s child is sick which is why our Telehealth team is on call starting at 6am, until 6pm, every day of the week. Patients will have the ability to talk to a doctor who can call in a prescription to your local pharmacy, all from the convenience of your web browser.

4. Virtual Check-in makes waiting in line obsolete

Users who are coming in for an in person visit will have the ability to check in to their appointment directly from their phone by using the Virtual Check-in feature. Check-in from the app and skip the line. Feel free to wait in the lobby, or in the comfort of your vehicle.

5. Expanded access to Covid Care

We will now be offering faster Covid testing and Covid vaccinations for asymptomatic patients and shorter wait times.  Atracare Health is one of the few local providers to offer PCR testing with rapid results. With the new mobile app, users will have the ability to schedule a rapid PCR test from their phone, virtually check in, and receive their test results without having to wait at the healthcare facility. The Covid testing process has been fully streamlined, only requiring a patient to briefly visit for their swab.
*Only available for Asymptomatic patients. Symptomatic patients will require an in-person assessment from a physician.
Atracare Health also offers Covid Treatments and Monoclonal Antibody Treatments as a Preventative measure for those who may be deemed high risk, and/or with pre-existing conditions.
The app and Telehealth service will be available 4/1/2022 on the Apple App Store, and Google Play App Store. Stay tuned for new features, such as “Health Score” by following the Facebook + Instagram pages, and subscribing to email updates by visiting the bottom of our website.

Why Whooping Cough Should Be Taken Seriously

Whooping cough, scientifically termed pertussis, stands as a cautionary example of how seemingly innocuous childhood illnesses can harbor profound dangers.
